Deb's obituary

Our beloved husband and father Delbert "Deb" Freeman entered into God’s Kingdom on March 22, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.

Deb was born to Woodrow W Freeman and Agnes MM (Richards) Freeman on November 04, 1944 in Chicago, IL. He joined the Air Force at the age of 17 and through assignment to Gunter in 1963, he met the love of his life - Carol L (Cottle) Freeman. While in the service, he was assigned to Taiwan where he came to Christ. He attended Covenant Theological Seminary (St Louis, MO) where he attained his degree and furthered his education at  Bethel Seminary (St Paul, MN) where he attained his doctorates in Theology. Deb received his ordination in April of 1981.

Deb & Carol were married March the 4th in 1964 and were happily married for 59 years.  They fell in love more each day and any who experienced time with them never doubted the depth of that love.  They had two daughters, Deborah and Julia.

Deb was a loyal servant to God, first and foremost. He loved the church and loved sharing the love and warmth of our savior, Jesus Christ, with as many people as possible. He was a devout member of Trinity PCA.

Deb joins his parents  and brother (Charles) in Heaven. He is survived by many loving family members, including Deborah (Land), Julia (Davis) and grandchildren Jason X Eldridge (grandson), Jessica (Shawver), Emily (Wilson) and Grace.

2 Corinthians 5:4 For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life.
