Deitra Ann “Dee Dee” Adams, age 78, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.  Deitra was born in Greenwood, Mississippi on June 15, 1944 and has lived in Savannah for many years.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas N. and Theadys Cowart Adams, and her brother Thomas “Tommy” Adams.  Deitra is survived by her brother, Daniel “Danny” Adams (Maxine) and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
