Our beloved matriarch,  friend and guide Smt. Deepa Mehta,  passed away on January 21, 2023.

We are truly touched and grateful for the outpouring of love that family and friends have expressed for her.

She battled colon cancer for the past year & a half. She fought it with such strength, grace and a positive attitude. Fortunately, she did not suffer for long. Many loved ones have shared that she was doing so well up until the very end. It was only in the past month or so that her health began to drastically decline. She continued to have cancer related complications, but finally went peacefully.

Instead of discussing the details of her decline, we would love to hear the wonderful stories and memories that all of you have had with her. Let us celebrate her life with the same positive attitude and kindness that she had with each of us.
