It is with heartfelt sorrow that we must announce the premature passing of Declan Dowell, who left us on September 15, 2025. Born on January 13, 2023, Declan was a bright and joyful presence, his personality full of life and warmth. He was a beacon of happiness, adored by his family and friends.
Declan had an extraordinary bond with his large and loving family. He is survived by his parents, Jerry Dowell and Jessica England; his brothers, Maverick and Parker Dowell; and his sisters, Mckenna, Mya, Ella, Aubree, Scarlett, Addison, and Haisleigh Dowell. His cousins, Lainey and Kadence Reiff, also fondly remember Declan's infectious laughter and radiant smiles.
Known for his exuberant spirit, Declan found joy in the simplest of things. He had favorites aplenty, including macaroni and cheese, hot dogs, and apple juice that he eagerly looked forward to at meal times. As a passionate reader, Declan cherished the book, 'One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.' He found solace in music, particularly enjoying the tunes of Cocomelon.
Declan was an avid viewer of TV shows, most notably Baby Shark, Cocomelon, and Miss Rachel. He loved the film Little Rascals and enjoyed playing games like Mario Kart, tag, and hide and seek. One of his most loved pastimes was playing with his cousins and siblings. His favorite local spot was the park, and he cherished the memories of his vacations at the beach.
As a joyful and compassionate soul, Declan cared deeply about his siblings and his race cars. His favorite color was blue, reflecting his bright and cheerful personality. Declan lived by the enduring lesson of treating people the way one wants to be treated, a testament to his kind and considerate nature.
Declan will forever be remembered for his bright smile and bubbly laugh, and his presence will be deeply missed. His legacy of love, joy, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him. Declan, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
