Debra Gay Trammell of Birmingham, AL passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025. The daughter of Betty Ruth Gann Ramey and Raymond Riggins, she loved to spend time with her family and friends and root on her beloved Alabama Crimson Tide and Atlanta Braves. Her family wishes to thank the staffs of Proveer Grayson Valley, St. Martin’s, and dear friend Simona Herring for their care over the last several years. She is survived by two sons, Raymond Wayne and Wesley Trammell, granddaughter Charlsey Trammell, daughter in law Elizabeth Trammell, sister Vicki Baxter, brother Roger Ramey, nephews Jacob Ramey & Mitch Harper, numerous cousins and the daughter she never had Christina Williams. She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Larry Trammell and her parents. A celebration of life will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Ataxia Foundation.
