Debra and I became friends while working at Hippocrates and soon found out we were both pregnant with our babies within weeks of each other.  That was such a special time in my life and I’m so thankful to have shared that time with her. — with Debra, Andrea, Thaddeus and Noa

Send love and praying for you all in the loss of dear Debra.
So very sorry to hear about Debra’s passing .  Sending our heart felt condolences to Debra’s boys and family.
One of my cherished memories of Debra is a time she invited my son (Jacob) and I over to spend the day with her, Thaddeus, and Phelix. The boys had an awesome time playing together in the pool and Debra and I got to talk and know each other more as friends. She was so sweet to invite us for dinner and we made individual veggie lasagna boats from scratch which I still think was one of the greatest ideas ever! We had so much fun prepping all the food and designing our lasagna boat creations :) It was probably such a simple thing for her to extend us the invitation that day but I remember that it meant the world to both Jacob and I.  Throughout our friendship, I always held in admiration the way Debra cared for others and the amazing heart she has poured into raising Thaddeus and Phelix. Her spirit will not be forgotten! My sincere condolences to Thaddeus, Phelix, and all of Debra's family and friends.

I am recalling one of my defining moments when I knew I would be friends with Debra forever. Thaddeus was having a beach birthday and I was honored to be invited with my toddler . It was a hot day and Debra brought this unbelievably gorgeous raw food ice cream cake , neatly made and packed securely to maintain a cool temperature. I commented on how ambitious this was not to mention, miraculous! She just casually said , “It was what he wanted.” Debra would truly cross the ocean 🌊 to delight her children. I was her doula when Phelix was born and I am awestruck always at her grace and beauty in all her roles but especially as Mama . Holding so much love for Thaddeus and Phelix and the entire family as we all continue to hold her light in the form of memories.
