Debra's obituary
Debra "Mama Debber" Sobek, a cherished daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on August 21, 2024. She was born on October 24, 1956, in Lakewood Ohio and was a die hard Browns fan. Debbie touched the lives of many with her loving, caring, and sweet nature
Debbie devoted her life to her family and friends, always providing warmth, comfort, and a nurturing spirit around her. Her wisdom and advice were easily summed up in her favorite saying, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
Among Debra's many Memories , one that she held dear to her heart was attending the Super Bowl for the Denver Broncos in 1997 (cheering them on as the Cleveland Browns, as they won!) a testament to her ardor for the game and the team. Her zest for life and the joy she took in the simple pleasures will be remembered by all who knew her.
Debra has joined both her parents Robert and Mildred in Heaven along with her Fur Babies. She is survived by her 3 brothers; Bob Jim and Larry. Her 3 children Justina (Michael), Jake and Jared, and her 5 grandchildren; Jaelynn, Carter, Dominic, Isabella and Jayce. Debbie’s children will continue to shine this light, living out her mother's legacy of kindness, compassion, and love.
A Celebration of Life for Debra will be held on August 31, 2024, at 6:00 PM in Butternut. We extend an invitation to all those who knew and loved Debra to join us in paying tribute to this incredible woman. Her memory will forever live in our hearts, and she will be profoundly missed.
