Debra Joan Slack (formerly Thompson), age 45, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in her home in Allentown, Pennsylvania after a long battle with Breast Cancer. Debra was surrounded by her loved ones at the time of her passing.

Debra was born February 2, 1973 in Allentown, PA to Raymond L. Thompson (deceased) and Linda Marie Thompson (deceased). She was a graduate of Whitehall High School, Whitehall, PA. Debra worked as a Medical Assistant for many years before becoming disabled. She married her High School Sweetheart, Kenny Slack on February 8, 1999. Together, they raised their son Nathan Slack. Debra enjoyed many things, but none more than her family and friends. She opened her heart and home to anyone in need. She will be greatly missed.

Debra is survived by her husband: Kenny Slack, of Allentown, PA; son: Nathan Slack of Allentown, PA; best friend: Dana Cooper; sisters: Lisa M. Thompson, of Allentown, PA; Rita L. Thompson, of Allentown,PA; Brothers-in-law: Nathan Dennis, of Allentown, PA; Melvin Johnson, Allentown, PA; Levi Slack, of Allentown, PA; John Tasker of Allentown, PA; Sister-in-law: Tanaya Horne, of Ludowici, GA. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews: Brandon Marucci (son of Lisa), Tianna Marucci (daughter of Lisa), Jeremy Thompson (son of Rita), Austin Thompson (son of Rita), Anthony Yocum (son of Kim), Thomas Rispoli (son of Danielle), Dominique Thaxton (daughter of Tanaya), Lauren Singleton (daughter of Tanaya), Courtney Burno (daughter of Tanaya), Kayla Duffie (daughter of Tanaya). Debra is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, including little Miss Aubrey.
