Debra Jean Scott (Debbie) passed away unexpectedly on June 2, 2022 age 64. She was born in Middletown, NY and moved to Johnson City, NY which she called home. She loved Johnson City and was known by many in the community. 

She was kind to anyone she met, and always gave a  compliment any chance she had. She had a youthfulness spirit, and always looked at the bright side of everything. She loved walking and walked everywhere she went. Her cats were her world and she would do anything for them. She loved dancing, listening to oldies, going to Chinese buffets, her sister,  children and grandchildren more then anything. She never forgot to send a card for birthdays and holidays. 

Preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Larese Shaw and daughter Amber Scott.  She is survived by her siblings, Laraine and husband Robert Maclaughlin  and her brother Clifton Shaw. Her nephew Nate and wife Jennifer Balcom and her children, Larese Isaacson, Amber and  husband  Richard Mendez, Peter Scott,  Toni and husband Tomáš Denemark. She left behind her beautiful grandchildren, Aiden Isaacson, Mekhi Mendez, Castle Denemark and twins Miccah and Lucca Mendez.

 The family will hold private service's and plant a tree in her honor. She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her. To end it with one of her favorite quotes "Without hope we have nothing".   Rest in peace,
