May her beautiful soul rest in peace in realm above.  I knew Debbie when she was 17 and became Baha'i in Austin Tex.  She came to our house in Austin very regularly.  I loved her joyful spirit.  My deepest condolences to her family.  with all my love,  Nahid Meshgin

What I remember most about Debra is her love for all things beautiful. She had an eye for the most exquisite detail whether it was in nature, art, music, or poetry. She was and is a gentle soul whose love for all creatures great and small...babies, animals, her friends and students shone through her radiant smile and twinkling eyes. I met Debra in Brasilia where she teach for few years. I that time I was dating Lua, who was leaving in Salvador where I am from and where we met. After couple days I decided to stay in Brasilia so I could stay close to Lua. Out of her enormous generosity and kindness she offered me a place to stay and help to find a job to start a new life in Brasilia. I own her a lot due to the opportunity she gave me. You will always e in my prayers and my heart ❤️.

I was so sorry to hear about Debra's passing. She was such a thoughtful, generous, and radiant person who often smiled and easily laughed.  I was especially moved by the special relationship she had with her beloved grandson.   My heart goes out to all her family 🤗❤️🤗
