Debra's obituary
Born in Butler, PA on June 14th, 1953, Debra was the daughter of the late Robert “Tweeter” Wiles and Helen (McIlroy) Wiles.
She spent nearly 40 years in health care; starting as an LPN in Oil City. After moving to Cincinnati in the mid 1990’s she continued to work as an LPN for her dear friend Dr. Suzanne Matunis while going to school at nights for 5 years before earning her RN degree from Cincinnati State University. She spent the past several years working as an RN Case Manager at Sedgwick before retiring this past June. Deb had a great zest for life and helping others; particularly cancer support groups during her own fight. She was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. She enjoyed spending time with her 3 sons and 4 grandchildren.
She is survived by her step mother of 60 years, Mary M. “Sis” Callihan Wiles. Also surviving is her sister, Marcia Lupi and her husband, Michael, of Butler; her sons Todd and his wife, Jennifer, Marcus and his wife Ashlee, and son Stephen. Four incredible grandchildren, Jackson and Declan (Todd), and Mason and Reese (Marcus) as well as a number of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Deb was preceded in death by her husband, James, of whom their incredible love story began in Oil City, Pa 45 years ago. His passing came recently on January 30, 2019. They are and will be reunited forever. She was also preceded in death by her loving in-laws, Harold and Kathyrn Montgomery of Oil City as well as her brother-in-law Harold “Nern” Montgomery as well as other cousins and aunts and uncles.
