Debi Kraus, 62, of Independence, MO passed away April 20 2017. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO, 64055. A service will be held at 10:00 am on Wed., April 26, 2017 at the chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens.

Debi was born on July 28, 1954 in Ogden, UT to Kenneth and Othei (Packard) Davidson. After finishing high school, Debi worked as a Unit Secretary for Truman Hospital then eventually North Kansas City Hospital. On August 12, 1989 she married the love of her life, Edward Kraus. She has a love for cats, doing needlepoint, and listening to music but most of all she loved socializing. Visiting with friends and family was her most favorite past time. Debi was a member of the LDS church and the Red Hat Society.

Left behind to cherish her memories is her husband Ed of the home; parents Kenneth and Othei Davidson; sister Kathy Chepeck and husband Frank of Sturgeon, MO; a brother Kenny Davidson of Independence, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
