Following her tenure in the health care sector, Debra found joy in serving as a Nutrition Assistant at the Palm Springs Unified School District, before retiring. Her work ethic and dedication served as a testament to her character, and are part of her legacy.
Artistic and creative, Debra found solace and expression in the world of arts. Particularly passionate about painting and crocheting, her later years were filled with vibrant canvases and intricately designed crochets. Her passion for art was only paralleled by her love for the Lord, a love she fervently shared with all around her. Her faith formed the crux of her life, guiding her through challenges and leading her towards her accomplishments.

She was a beloved mother to her daughter, Misty Exum, and a doting grandmother to her granddaughters, Basia Roberts and Brylee Roberts.
