Debra's obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Debra Jenson. Born in the year of 1952, Debra departed from this life on January 5, 2024. A phenomenal woman whose life was defined by her warmth, love, and nurturing spirit, she touched the lives of many with her infectious joy and ceaseless generosity.

Debra, an embodiment of strength and resilience, led a life dedicated to service and compassion. She gained certification from SLC Red Cross as a Nursing Assistant and spent many years providing in-home health care. Following her tenure in the health care sector, Debra found joy in serving as a Nutrition Assistant at the Palm Springs Unified School District, before retiring. Her work ethic and dedication served as a testament to her character, and are part of her legacy.

Artistic and creative, Debra found solace and expression in the world of arts. Particularly passionate about painting and crocheting, her later years were filled with vibrant canvases and intricately designed crochets. Her passion for art was only paralleled by her love for the Lord, a love she fervently shared with all around her. Her faith formed the crux of her life, guiding her through challenges and leading her towards her accomplishments.

Debra is survived by loved ones who were the cornerstone of her existence. She was a beloved mother to her daughter, Misty Exum, and a doting grandmother to her granddaughters, Basia Roberts and Brylee Roberts. Through them, her spirit continues to thrive, and her wisdom continues to illuminate their lives.

As we mourn the loss of Debra Jenson, we also celebrate the love, compassion, and spirituality she brought to the world. Her life and her legacy continue to inspire us, reminding us of her relentless pursuit of service, creativity, and faith.
