Debra's obituary
>We regretfully announce the passing of Debra Graham, 72, of Clinton, TN.
Debra Lee Graham, age 72, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025, at ParkView West Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Born on July 11, 1952, Debra lived a life marked by quiet strength, warmth, and unwavering love for her family and her cherished canine companions. A proud graduate of Valparaiso University, she pursued her passions with intelligence and grace, bringing kindness and humor to all who knew her.
Debra was a devoted wife to the late James “Mike” Graham, and together they shared a life full of love, laughter, and deep companionship until his passing. Though they never had children of their own, Debra poured her heart into being a beloved Aunt and dog mom, roles she filled with joy, pride, and deep affection.
She is survived by her nephews, Erik (Lori) Hocott of Goose Creek, South Carolina, and Christopher (Stephanie) Hocott of Slidell, Louisiana. Her legacy continues in the lives of her six great-nieces—Hayley, Audry, Anna, Faye, Kalleigh, and Mia—and one great-nephew, Zac, each of whom brought her immense happiness and pride.
Debra is preceded in death by her husband, James “Mike” Graham; her mother, Marcie Babcock; and her sister, Robyn Marshall.
Her presence in our lives was a gift—gentle, loyal, and enduring. Her memory will live on in the stories we share, the traditions we continue, and the love we hold in our hearts.
A private family service will be held at Debra’s wishes. In place of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to a local animal rescue or shelter, honoring her deep love for animals.
