It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mom, Debra Marshall Fogarty, who left us on May 12, 2025 in Beaufort, SC. She was a vibrant soul, a fierce protector, and the glue that held our family together. A devoted wife to Paul and mother to four children: David Marshall, Andy Marshall, Paul Fogarty, Jr., and Caitlin Fogarty. She was a proud “g-mommy” to Kaleb Marshall, Sophia Marshall, John Marshall, Rylee Fogarty, Everly Fogarty and Madelyn Brawner. She filled our lives with laughter, love, and countless cherished memories.

Born October 10, 1951 to Edward Franklin and Willie Mae "Bill" Marshall, Debbie was raised in Heath Springs, SC with her two sisters Dawn Catoe and Dianne Pardue. She went on to build lifelong friendships while working 29 years at SC Department of Health and Environmental Control. She loved being by the beach and sitting in the sun.

Debbie was known for her quick wit and humor, all said in her signature southern drawl. Not only was she smart and resourceful, but she also taught us the importance of kindness and resilience. Her love and guidance shaped us into the individuals we are today, and her legacy will continue to live on in our hearts.

As we navigate this difficult time, we find solace in the laughter she brought into our lives and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. We will miss her dearly, but we are grateful for the time we shared and the love she so generously gave.

In honor of Debbie we are asking to please donate to her favorite charity: St. Jude’s Children’s hospital.
