Deborah Joan (Parker) Vogt, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025, in Janesville, Wisconsin. She was born on August 4, 1949, in Monroe, Wisconsin, to Maurice and Evelyn Parker. Deborah’s life was a testament to love, dedication, and creativity, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

On November 18, 1967, Deborah married her high school sweetheart, Lawrence J. Vogt, in Cassville, Wisconsin. Their love story began when they started dating as sophomores in 1965, blossoming into a partnership spanning six decades. Together, they built a family filled with love and laughter, raising five children. Deborah's legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride.

Deborah was a woman of many talents, known for her creativity and craftsmanship. She had a passion for sewing, quilting, framing, and crafts. She shared these gifts freely with her family and community; she found use for these gifts in the children’s ministry, where she dedicated her time and energy to sharing the teachings of Christ with the children, leaving a lasting impact on their lives.

In addition to her devotion to family and community, Deborah was a committed member of the Faith Community Church, where her kindness and spirit touched the lives of many. Her professional journey included various roles in craft stores, as well as positions in secretarial and insurance work, where her attention to detail and organizational skills shone.

Deborah is survived by her loving husband, Lawrence Vogt, her children: Thomas (Dawn), Jason, Daniel (Rachel), Amy Ingalls, and Kevin (Angie) Vogt, her sister, Danette (Patrick) McKearn, 14 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, further survived by lifelong friend Diane Ladd, extensive relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Evelyn (Seeley) Parker, her sisters, Patricia (Parker) Ginchoff and Nita (Parker) Zylstra, and her son-in-law, Kip Ingalls.

The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the nursing staff at Mercy Hospital ICU for their compassionate care and support during Deborah’s final days. Your kindness made a world of difference.

A celebration of Deborah's life will be held on October 18, 2025, at Faith Community Church, 2931 Lucerne Dr., Janesville, WI, at 10:00 am for visitation. Service will take place at 11:00 am with luncheon to follow. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering a remarkable woman whose spirit and love will forever remain in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Rockford Rescue Mission, an organization that embodies Deborah’s spirit of giving and commitment to helping others.

Deborah will be deeply missed, but her legacy of faith, love, kindness, and creativity will continue to inspire all who knew her. She is now in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Rest in peace, dear Deborah; you will always be remembered and cherished.
