Deborah's obituary

Deborah “Debbie” Taylor died peacefully at Brigham & Women's Memorial Hospital in Boston on February 1st. She was born October 16th, 1953 in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, to parents, Barbara (Mason) and Leslie Taylor.
Debbie attended Bangor High school, and graduated from the University of Maine in 1994. She worked as a LPN in many Maine hospitals, including Maine Medical Center, Eastern Maine Medical Center, and C.A. Dean Memorial. Debbie also had a degree in Early Childhood Education, and balanced her work as a nurse while providing her only son with a home education. She was a proud member of the Orono United Methodist Church, and truly valued her friendship with Pastor Steve Smith. She was a vibrant woman, who loved to laugh, and always took time to learn other people's life story.
She was predeceased by her brother Glenn. Debbie is survived by her son Brian Taylor and his wife, Sierra, their children, Rhett and Kaden; mother, Barbara DiSanto; father, Leslie Taylor and wife Helen; sisters, Jennifer DiSanto and Cathy Boyton; brothers, Ronnie DiSanto and Joey DiSanto; and many nieces and nephews. Debbie made friends wherever she went, and will be deeply missed by many; especially lifelong friend Jan Rhenow; and special friends, Roberta Fitzgerald and Rose Pyle. She will be greatly missed by her faithful companions, her cats, Mikey and Maggie May.
A service of remembrance will be held at 10 am on February 17, 2018 at the Orono United Methodist Church. All who knew her are encouraged to attend and celebrate Debbie's life. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Debbie's memory may be made to the Veazie Veterinary Clinic.
