Deborah Lynn Ricketts, 69, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday night, August 15, 2021.

She is survived by her husband, Clay Ricketts of Pemberton NJ, daughter Tammy Ambs and husband Christopher of Amarillo TX, son Rolly Keenan of Westminster CO, and son Josh Gutierrez of Columbus OH, and her many grandchildren: Zachary Keenan, Madison Randall, Mackenzie Sanchez, Emma Ambs, Jacob Keenan, Max Keenan, Sam Keenan, Nate Keenan, and Charley Keenan. And her great grandchildren: Stella And Nora Randall.

I am her son, Rolly Keenan, writing this obituary with my sister Tammy Ambs and brother, Josh Gutierrez.

It is difficult to locate who our Mom was close to, we do know that she stayed in touch with many different people - her Caprock colleagues included. We hope this obituary makes it to many of you out there.

Our Mom struggled with her relationship with us; I imagine this is a product of her own childhood and various traumas in her life. We forgive you for that, Mom.

This fractured world of relationships threatens our ability to come together as her children to respectfully mourn her passing and celebrate her life. This obituary is our first attempt to do so.

Our Mom clearly had interest in knowing many friends and building relationships with family. Though it was painful for us as your children to be involved in these relationships, I imagine it was much more painful for you. To honor your life, all three of us will dedicate ourselves to continuing to create new generations of your family that embrace love and understanding, and to the best of our abilities, not allowing our past traumas to invade our loved ones relationships.

I am sure you did your best Mom. We love you. Rest in peace.
