Deborah's obituary

We regretfully announce Deborah "Debbie" Sue Richardson (Bartholomew) 65, of Florissant, MO, passed away unexpectedly,  at her home on December 09, 2022.

Deborah was born on April 29th, 1957 to Donna L. Worden (Cox) and George N. Bartholomew in Peoria, IL and immediately brought joy and laughter into the world.

She was the oldest of five and was a great source of comfort and help to her mother.  After graduating from Hazelwood West in 1975,  she met Claude Richardson and the two were inseparable from that point on.

Debbie and Claude wed in 1976 and were married for 44 years and had two children, Nichole and Brittany Richardson.

Deborah was a fiercely dedicated and loving mother to both of her children, raising both of them to go on to accomplish great things.

Family came first and was above all else to Deborah, a value she exuded to all those around her. She was one of the brightest, strongest, most caring, kindest, most courageous, bravest, funniest women to ever walk this earth and our family was truly blessed to have her as the head of the family.

We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Donna L. Worden and George N. Bartholomew as well as her husband Claude A. Richardson.

She is survived by her two children, Nichole R. Richardson and Brittany A. Richardson, and four grandchildren Macy E. Richardson, Gage A. Koetting, Cole P. Koetting and Alena J. Sterns.

Also by her stepfather, Gerald L Worden, and four brothers and sisters, Mark N. Bartholomew (Tammy) , Melinda S. Fisher (Scott) , Michelle L Graves (Charles) and Scott A Bartholomew (Steffany).

Deborah’s Celebration Of Life Service will be held at the VFW Post 4105 at 410 rue St. Francois on January 22nd from 2-6pm. All are welcome. For details feel free to contact Brittany Richardson (314-614-2626).
