Thinking & missing you today, Deb ❤️ Remembering old times and how you taught me so much from crochet, recipes,  gardening to being the Treasurer for our family reunion. You had the patience of saint. I will always remember our talks about anything and everything. You loved to laugh. Love you always 💓
I met Deb during Freshman orientation at PCTS. I was stuck by the Maine accent and we became fast friends. I remember my parents coming to visit freshman year and they asked Deb to join us for dinner...she ordered pancakes. We wrote off an on over the years and even managed a trip here and there. The distance (two coasts) made frequent visits difficult. Later on in our time at PCTS we both lived off campus but I'd head to her apartment on Saturdays for study time and our mutual love of old black and white (B) horror movies. I've thought about Deb so much over the years...thankful for our friendship.

My condolences to all of her family and friends.

R.I.P. my friend.

We have loved and appreciated deeply Deb as a person, as a friend, and as an amazingly skilled and creative professional. Deb remains a beautiful part of our Renaissance Ribbons World. Our sincere condolences to her family - in particular, her daughters.
Hi Deb
You are such a lovely and lively person.
You are an incredible colleague.
You are knowledgeable, focused and work hard.
You are honest and straightforward.

This is our great loss.

May god receive, hug and welcome you to heaven.

May you Rest In Peace.
One of my fondest memories of Debbie was during a 5K road race I was running in the early 2000s - the Ocean Park 5K. I've never been a fast runner, and the year before I was beat at the finish line by a 80 year old participant (I was about 40 at the time). But the next year, I beat the 81 year old! It was all very absurd (and I wish I had a photograph) but as I was crossing the finish line Debbie handed me a big refreshing fruity drink in a carved out pineapple to celebrate my victory over the octogenarian. As I said it was all very silly and fun, and that's what I remember most about Debbie. She always liked a good laugh and was always game for some fun.

My wife Carol and I used to travel back to Maine every year from the mid-90s through the oughts to vacation for a few weeks. And some years, we brought our friends Steve and Tammy with us from the midwest to join us. We'd spend a few days in Newfield, but usually encamped in New Gloucester for a week. Debbie was always so generous and kind to put up with our Powell mania. Those were great times!

Debbie and I went to college together in Philadelphia. We were in touch off and on over the years because of our similar life paths. Debbie helped me adjust to the winters in Maine, when I took a job at a textile mill in Lewiston. I am saddened to hear of her passing. My heart and prayers to her daughters and close family.
I was a school classmate of Debbie and will always remember her as our class president. She was friends with everyone. I haven’t been one to stay in touch but looking at these pictures makes me wish I had. I am sending prayers for peace through this time of sadness and adjustment. ❤️
Seeing all these pictures of Debbie and family bring me right back to those wonderful years. Will always remember those days when our daughters were young and our families spent time together in Newfield and New Gloucester. She would come with her delicious strawberry rhubarb pies and sometimes a picture album with the latest photos of flowers from her garden to share . She was a sweet person with many abilities, and much love for her family.
