My deeply felt condolences to both Tony and Danielle. I have way too many memories and stories to whittle down to just a few. She was one of the kindest and most helpful neighbors I've ever had. From day one to the day we moved, I'd call it 9 years of fun. I can hear her laugh right now. I've thought all 4 of you so often. Hugs to you both. She will be greatly missed, I know! I'm sure she's happily laughing with Eric now.

My thoughts and prayers are with her family🙏🏻 Debbie was a wonderful friend and volunteer at Schwarzkopf Elementary. Will be missed.

Debi was such a great friend and volunteer! We met through Schwarzkopf and our kids and also did scrapbooking together. We had a group of friends who met regularly for lunch and sometimes dinner (which also included our husbands). As our kids grew older and I went back to work full time, our interactions were fewer, but I will always remember Debi and her kindness, faith, sense of humor and so many other wonderful attributes.

The Laivo family always welcomed me with open arms when I visited throughout the 1970s and 1980s! Debi was the youngest, and I had a blast with her - I was the baby cousin and she felt like my older sister - always kind, always fun and always smiling 😊! As I grew up and became a Mom, Debi continued her kindness and her sharing - through her young family, her husband Tony, and her generous sharing of baby and toddler goods! What a beautiful soul Debi has, and what a lovely legacy she is leaving in her love of family and her kindness and joy. Rest in Peace, Debi and may you and Eric have a wonderful time as you reunite. You are ALL deeply loved!

My condolences to her husband Tony, who was her rock and her daughter Danielle, who she was so proud of.
Debi was my beloved coworker and fast friend in the Nursery/ Kids Team @ Bay Hope. She loved singing the Cradle Choir songs to the babies with the Rockettes. She also loved making homemade cards. We did Bible studies and Moms Mentoring Moms together. I will miss talking to her, texting with her and visiting her. I miss you already Debi!

Debi was the Rockette ministry - and I, along with Marianne, love sharing the blessing Debi was to parents, volunteers, staff family and most importantly - sharing God's love with the babies... I will miss her laughter and joyfulness too. We lost an angel on earth but gained another angel in heaven. We know God has a place prepared for her and she is with her precious son, Eric. Danielle, Tony and family - she loves you beyond words !!!! Thank You God for sharing Debi with us!!!

Sending my deepest condolences to Tony and Danielle. Debi, was my dear sister, there is no greater love than that of a sister. I will never forget the wonderful memories I have with "lil sis". Debi, was loving, funny, caring, with a heart of gold and so much more. To know her was to love her.

Debi was the heart of the Nursery at Bay Hope Church. She loved the children, their families, the ‘Rockettes’ (Nursery Volunteers), and all her fellow team members. She was such a blessing and planted seeds of Faith and God’s Love in the lives of many. We had so much fun working & laughing together and we will miss her dearly❤️

I am Debi's first cousin. My mom. Alice. was the sister of Debi's mom, Norma. My first memory of Debi dates to the 1950s at Grandma's house in Mt Vernon, New York. I remember her on Grandma's front porch--Hillside Avenue. I can't remember the house number. Mt Vernon bordered New York City, and the city still had some charm back then. There was still much truth in the sprit of the song, written in 1894, titled "The "Sidewalks of New York." You know the song: It starts with the words "East side. west side, all around the town..." Debi exuded that same type of charm. She will be missed.
