Deborah's obituary
With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Deborah Nix, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend. Born on December 15, 1953, On May 8,2025 Deborah went home to be with the lord.
Deborah will always be remembered as a sweetheart, jokester, and someone genuinely full of life. Her vivacious spirit and radiant smile lit up every room she entered, leaving indelible memories in the hearts of all those she touched. Her laughter was indeed the best music, and she spread joy wherever she went.
Deborah was preceded in death by her loving husband, Laurence Nix "Jr", her father Robert Lyda, and mother Juanita Lyda, her brother, Doyle "Pudgy" Eugene, her son in law Thomas "Tommy" Bright. Each one held a special place in her heart, and we know they were there to welcome her with open arms on her heavenly journey.
Surviving Deborah is her devoted family, who continued to inspire and motivate her in her final years. Her son, Rex "Tank" Yearwood, and daughter, Brandy "Robyn" Yearwood Lanclos, bear her legacy and will always cherish the fond memories they shared. She is also survived by her beloved granddaughters Courtney Lanclos, Deborah "Nikki" Wilson, Alexis "Lexi" Garrett and Brooklyn Evans, along with her grandson, Zack Evans. Her great grandchildren Brentley "B" Mauldin, Jaxxten McWhite, Mavric Dexter. Their grandmother’s love and laugh will continue to guide and support them throughout their lives.
The loss of Deborah will be sorely felt by all who knew and loved her. However, her effervescent spirit and zest for life will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. While we mourn her physical absence, we celebrate the wonderful life she lived and the countless moments of joy she brought into ours.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life Ceremony on Saturday May 24, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at 122 The Rocks Drive Liberty SC 29657
The family urges those who plan to attend to please bring purple balloons or paper lanterns to be released in her memory.
