Deborah's obituary

Deborah Ann Griffin (Lampkins) was called to heaven on July 10, 2022.

Deborah Ann Griffin was born on August 20, 1946 to Elizabeth (Betty-boop) Ann Griffin (Slattery) and Alfred Lawrence Griffin.

Deborah graduated from Saint Benedict’s high school in 1964 where she met the love of her life, Alfred Glenn Lampkins. They were married on June 25, 1966.

Deborah’s passion was spending time with her family, loving wife to Alfred Glenn Lampkins of 56 years. Mother to Jeff and Bryan (Loni). Grandmother to her 5 grandchildren: Luke (22), Valerie (18), Jake (19), Haley (18) and Brooke (16). Deborah is survived by her siblings: Alfred (Robin), Gregory (Donna), Patricia, and Robert (Leann). Predeceased by her brother John (Bonnie). Deborah was also a loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Deborah was very active in the Catholic church and volunteered at Saint Irenaeus church in Rochester Hills in various capacities. Deborah was a very avid Detroit Tigers fan, loved hosting euchre parties to bring family and friends together. Deborah’s hobbies included visiting and supporting the Salvation Army “Sally’s” in every town / city she visited (she never missed an opportunity to check out the local Sally’s), spending time gardening and tending to her flowers and pond!

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 14, 2022 at A. J. Desmond & Sons at 3725 Rochester Road, Troy, MI 48083 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm

Funeral service will be Thursday, July 15, 2022 at 11:00 at
