Deborah April Edwards

On October 31, 2023 at the age of 57, Deborah decided to leave this world after a decades-long personal battle.

Born on April 26, 1966 Deborah (who often preferred to go by Debrah) grew up in Reno, NV. After living in several cities as an adult, she found her home in Florence, OR.

Deborah lived life on her own terms. She was mercurial, strong-willed, and resourceful. She had a strong appreciation for music, design, beauty, and creature comforts. While she had no children, she doted on several beautiful cats in her lifetime.

Deborah is predeceased by her parents, Mary and Norman Edwards, for whom she was a diligent and fearless caretaker until their final days. She is survived by three sisters, Dawn Uccelli, Dianne Edwards and Jessica Devin, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. She felt a special connection with her niece Elisabeth Devin.

Cremation will be handled by Burns Riverside Chapel. There will be no services. If you wish to honor Deborah, do something beautifully unexpected and wildly kind today. “Love’s in need of love today,” Stevie Wonder once sang. Deborah would agree.
