Deborah's obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Deborah "Debbie" Douglas. Known affectionately to some as Debbie, she had a preference for Deborah. Born on March 3, 1950, she departed this life on April 17, 2019.
Deborah was a magnetic personality, known for her kindness, sassiness, and humor. She was never afraid to lighten the mood with a quick quip, and yet beneath that delightful exterior, she was a woman who deeply believed in the golden rule: Treat others the way you want to be treated. It was a philosophy she lived by, setting an example for her family and friends.
A lover of life's simplest yet most profound joys, some of Deborah's greatest accomplishments were getting married and raising her children. These milestones brought her immense joy and fulfillment, and she cherished every moment in motherhood and as a wife.
Deborah's legacy is one of kindness. This legacy, infused with her love, warmth, and laughter, will continue to live on through her loved ones. Survived by her daughter, Lora Lynn Baker, and her grandchildren, Georgia Maddison Baker and Jackson William Baker, Deborah's spirit will no doubt continue to shine through them.
Her passing leaves a void in their lives and indeed in the lives of all who knew her. Deborah will be profoundly missed, but she will continue to inspire and guide them through the principles she taught and the love she so freely gave. Rest in peace, Deborah "Debbie" Douglas. Your legacy of love and kindness will forever be etched in our hearts.
