When I was diagnosed with breast in September of 2016, Debbie reached out to me and insisted she go to my first major appointments with me. She came to my home, picked me up, recorded the appointments and also had the conversations with the doctors. She also knew the questions to bravely ask. I sat fairly quietly because I was still in a bit of shock, but she knew that already, because of her own battle. I had not been around Debbie that much, but like everyone who knew her, I felt like she’d been like a sister friend for years. I’ve missed seeing Debbie these passed months and will always remember her as having a beautiful and radiant smile. She was also brave, hopeful, and madly in love with Craig and Holly. She was truly one of the best persons I’ve ever known. Joleen
