Deborah's obituary

In loving memory of daughter, loving wife, mother, and grandmother Deborah "Debbie" Gale Crouch, who passed away on August 10, 2023 at home in Pittsburg, Texas after a long battle with COPD.

Debbie was born at Dallas Methodist Hospital  in Dallas, Texas to Thomas Edward (TE) and Mary Francis Nicholson on May 27th 1956.  Debbie attended school at Kimball High School in Oak Cliff, Texas where she met her high school sweetheart Leslie Crouch;  whom she later married in 1975 and had two sons Joshua and Jeremy.

Debbie was a kind, caring, and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity; even unto death. Mom was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Growing up, she was always there for us, whether we needed help with our homework or just a shoulder to cry on.  She instilled in us the importance of family, hard work, and doing what is right. Mom was a true role model who we will always look up to.

Debbie was predeceased by  her parents Thomas Edward & Mary Francis Nicholson, and her husband Leslie Howard Crouch.  And she is survived by her brother, Glenn Edward & Sandra Nicholson; her oldest son, Joshua Ray & Rebecca Crouch; her youngest son, Jeremy Lee & Crista Crouch; grandkids, Benaiah, Bethany, Josiah, & Everly Crouch and grandkids, Sebastian & Alexia Crouch.

The memorial services will be held at Lake Bob Sandlin State Park Pavillion in Pittsburg, Texas on October 14th, 2023, at 2pm with Pastor Jeremy Durig officiating.

Mama, you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest peacefully asleep in Jesus.
