Deborah's obituary
Deborah Ann (Skero) Cofty of Georgetown, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on November 30, 2021 at age 58.
Debbie was born in Houston, Texas to the late Vincent Skero Jr. and Phyllis Skero on September 23, 1963. She graduated from Alvin High School in 1982, but settled in beautiful Georgetown where she began a career working for Travis County in 1993.
A loyal and hard worker, Debbie devoted 28 years to her career with Travis County where she developed strong friendships and long-lasting memories with her coworkers and peers.
Debbie was an incredible mother, dedicated to providing love, encouragement and praise to her children, Chloe Arnold and Nick Skero.
In addition to being a remarkable mother, Debbie was an even more incredible grandmother to three grandbabies, Alexis Skero, Denim Skero and Winston Arnold who lovingly knew Debbie as "Gigi".
Debbie is survived by her mother Phyllis Skero, her siblings, Joey and Tony Skero, and two children: Chloe Arnold and Nicolas Skero of Georgetown, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her father Vincent Skero Jr; Grandmothers Agnes Shields and Lois Skero, and sister Tracy Skero Millegan.
Although Debbie's compassion, sense of humor and loyalty is greatly missed, there is peace in the knowledge that Debbie is reunited with her preceded family in heaven.
Debbie's surviving family would like to offer their sincerest gratitude to the hospital staff at Dell Seton for providing excellent care of Debbie in her final hours.
Additionally, the family would like to express their continued appreciation for all of the support, and continued prayers being offered by friends, co-workers and loved ones.
Your support means so much during these unprecedented times.
God Bless each and everyone of you.
