Deborah's obituary

Deborah "Debbie" Cason died unexpectedly, but peacefully, of natural causes at her home in Troutdale, Oregon, on June 25, 2022.  She had recently retired from Reynolds High School where she served as an Educational Assistant in Special Education for nearly 20 years.

An Air Force Brat, Debbie attended Portland State University after her family settled in Portland in 1969. While at PSU she met her future husband, Greg Cason. Debbie and Greg were married in 1975. Together they raised their three children, Stephanie, Jennifer, and Alex in Troutdale.

Debbie was loved by her family, friends, and community.  A devoted mother, she loved Christmas, and all things Scotland and Scottish, including the occasional dram of scotch every now and then.

Debbie is preceded in passing by her parents, Floyd and Ruth Yoder of Gresham, Oregon. She is survived by her husband, Greg; daughters Stephanie and Jennifer; son Alex; sister Pam Joyner; and brother Mitch Yoder.

At this time, no service is planned, however, her family asks that well wishes, pictures, and donations be shared here.
