Deborah Broach Beaucar March 26, 1950 – January 6, 2025
Deborah Broach Beaucar, age 74, of Vincent, AL, passed into eternity on January 6, 2025. A woman of deep Christian faith, Debbie lived a life dedicated to her family and her beliefs.
Debbie was born in Langdale, AL on March 26, 1950, to Edward Gay Broach and Ina Sue Middleton Newton and lived her early years in Lanett, AL. She was a graduate of Lanett High School class of 1968 and attended Southern Union State Community College. She built a career in office management, including her valued time at Vulcan Engineering in Helena, AL. She was a member of Vincent Revival Center in Vincent, AL.
Debbie found joy in creating beauty around her, whether through her flower gardens or home decorating. She was an accomplished baker whose strawberry shortcakes and pound cake became legendary among family and friends, bringing sweetness to countless gatherings and celebrations. Debbie was a die-hard Auburn fan, and to her the only thing better than watching an Auburn game was watching an Auburn game with her family.
Debbie’s strong Christian values guided her throughout her life, and her devotion to both her faith and family were central to who she was. Her loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Debbie is preceded in death by her father Edward Gay Broach; daddy Wilford Claude Newton; mother Ina Sue Newton; brother Michael Gay Broach; mother-in-law Ruth Pond; son-in-law Marcus Lamar Cheatwood; aunt Ann Middleton Goodwin, uncle Jack Middleton and aunt Miriam Middleton.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband David John Beaucar; daughters Julie Foster Cheatwood of Gardendale and Kristy Foster Jennings (Eric) of Childersburg; sister Diane Broach Cooper (David) of St. Augustine, FL; brother Walter Stanley Newton (Eiko) of Cusseta; sister-in-law Barbara Ann Beaucar; aunt Fay Jackson of Lanett; uncle Don Goodwin of Birmingham; grandchildren Whitney Taylor Davis; Hunter Foster Davis; Jordan Wayne Davis (Liz) and son Jase; John Colton Davis (Grace) and son John Paul; Joel Lamar Cheatwood (Sophia) and sons Cooper and Cameron; Savanna Rae Cheatwood; Evan Drake Jennings, and Joshua Connor Jennings; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and special lifetime friends. Step daughters Holly Beaucar Tucker (Kevin), Candace Beaucar Need (Mark) and Amy Beaucar Raboin (Chris); grandchildren Kayla Tucker Shangraw (John) and sons: Luke John Tucker, Brent Steven Shangraw, Sheamus William Shangraw; Megan Elizabeth Tucker (Joey Kinnarney) and sons: Beau Taylor Tucker, Erik Joseph Kinnarney, Jax Clayton Kinnarney, Ruairi James Kinnarney; Nicholas Kevin Tucker; Allyson Leigh Marroquin (Alex) and children: Oliver Cole Marroquin, Marleigh Rose Marroquin, Graeme Alexander Marroquin; Joshua Christopher Raboin (Taryn) and son: Noah Michael Raboin; Milyssa Ann Raboin (Eric); Christopher Joseph Raboin.
The family will host a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 1st at Vincent Revival Center in Vincent, AL. Please join us at 1:00 with a service at 2:00. In lieu of flowers please consider an offering to the Revival Center’s Build-A-Bridge Community Pantry (Kingdom Builders outreach) or the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
