How you can help

Debbie was born in Odessa, Texas on September 28th, 1955 to Mary and Irvin Barnes. She was raised and lived most of her life in Odessa.

Both her parents and siblings from a previous marriage of her father's precede her in death. Her survivors include her son, Irvin and wife Cristi, their children Lindsey, Claryssa, and Samuel. One great-granddaughter Saige, with another great-granddaughter on the way. (Sophie)

She's also survived by numerous friends, and cousins.

Debbie loved fishing, butterflies, animals, watching wrestling, law enforcement type of shows, Poison, George Strait, and Elvis Presley.

Your donations will 100% go to to her cremation and memorial items. The memorial itself will be held at her son's church.

Your donations will allow for a final resting place, the urn the children have chosen is quite beautiful. It's a wooden urn with a butterfly engraved on it. No other resting place could have been more beautiful, unless it included a lady fishing.

Some her final funny moments include asking her daughter to scratch her butt while in the hospital which caused her son to roar in laughter.

Then when her brother asked her if she wanted a kiss on the cheek and her response was "what? do you want to make me sick".

We're still working kinks out, the only thing I know for certain at this moment is that the memorial service will be held at my brother's church.
