Debbie's obituary

In Loving Memory of Deborah K Harris

May 21, 1954 - December 17, 2023

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Debbie Harris, who departed from this world on December 17, 2023, after a courageous, but short battle with brain cancer. She was 69 years old.

Born on May 21, 1954, Debbie was a beacon of love, strength, and resilience. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of everyone she encountered with her kindness, grace, and unwavering spirit.

Debbie faced her diagnosis with an indomitable courage that inspired all who knew her. Even in the face of adversity, she maintained her trademark warmth and optimism, proving that love and faith can triumph over even the most challenging circumstances.

A dedicated wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, Debbie poured her heart into creating a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched, the values she instilled, and the memories that will forever be etched in our hearts.

Debbie is survived by her daughter, Cierra Miller (Daniel Miller), son, Josh Harris, grandchildren, Ashlyn Miller, Elijah Miller, and Rowan Harris, Brothers Michael J. Lindsey (Cheryl Lindsey) and Chuck R. Lindsey, and many other beloved nieces, nephews and family members who will continue to cherish her memory. She is preceded in death by her mother Ruby Lindsey and her father Charles Lindsey, who we believe welcomed her with open arms into eternal peace.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the medical professionals and caregivers who supported Debbie during her courageous battle. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Real Life Church Accelerate Building fund in Debbie's honor. If there was anything Debbie loved as much as her family, it was her church. Her desire to see the church’s building be completed is in line with her incredibly generous heart.

Donations can be made at www.livereallife.com/give choose “Building” under the fund tab.

A memorial service to celebrate Debbie’s life will be held at Miamisburg Assembly of God, 501 N. 9th St. Miamisburg, OH, 45342 at 2:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to join in remembrance and support during this time of reflection.

In honoring Debbie's vibrant spirit and love of smiley faces, the family requests that attendees wear yellow and white as a symbol of the joy she brought into our lives.

As we say our goodbyes, let us remember Debbie not with tears, but with the love and joy she shared with each of us. May her beautiful soul rest in eternal peace.

With deepest sympathy,

The Miller Family
