Debbie's obituary

Debbie Hanson was reunited with her parents when she left this earthly realm on May 23, 2023, after a long battle with colon cancer.

It would be wrong to say that Debbie lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Debbie stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Debbie. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight.

There was no one quite like Debbie. She had a hunger for life and lived fearlessly. She was always the life of the party and her joy was infectious to those all around. It is safe to say that she made an impact on many lives.

While she had many great adventures and was a successful sales person, she would always let you know that her two daughters were her greatest accomplishment. She would do anything to make sure that her daughters were happy.

Debbie is survived by her two daughters Shanna, Alexis, three grandsons, and three sisters Layra, Layrs and Gendra. There will be a Celebration of Life service at Christ Lutheran Church on June 16th at 11:00am. Guests are encouraged to wear lively colors. All are welcome.
