Debbi's obituary
Debbi moved to the central coast with her son Clay in the 1970's where she met Bob and continued growing their family with Vincent.
Most who knew her knew that she ran an amazing preschool-daycare where she nurtured the hearts and minds of numerous children over her 35+ year career. She loved teaching and caring for children, and she cherished the families she met and watched grow along the way.
Debbi loved being a mother and a Nana. Her sons and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved spending quality time with them, especially camping in Big Sur, road trips to and from Reno, and beach days along the Monterey coastline.
Her world forever changed when she lost her son Clay to cancer. She fought hard by his side and when he lost his battle her heart would never be the same.
Debbi retired in the beautiful countryside of Lake Moreno in Campo, CA where she enjoyed fishing, hiking, and motorcycle rides with friends. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 17, 2021 in her home.
She is preceeded in death by her son Ian "Clay" Davi; her granddaughters Abigal Marie and Emily Elizabeth Davi; and her beloved dogs Bubba, Gabby and Smoke.
Debbi's survivors include her son Vincent (Stephanie) Davi; her grandsons Tyler (Shelby), Baelin and Ian Davi; her granddaughter Samantha Davi; her sisters Kandi Nack and Jodi Chaffin; and numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Due to the current Monterey County COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of life will be done in the months to come. Debbi's family will announce the event details when accommodations can be confirmed.
