Deb Ellis, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 4th, 2025. Born on October 27th, 1960, Deb was a woman of unparalleled vitality and spirit, whose life was defined by her enduring love for her family, her welcoming and outgoing personality, and her passion for the simpler joys of life.
Deb is survived by her adoring husband, Tom Ellis, and their daughter, Tera Henry. She played an instrumental role in the lives of her cherished grandchildren, Madison Lewis, Macee Henry, and Serenity Ellis, all of whom she adored dearly. She was predeceased by her son, Thomas Ellis II, whose memory remained close to her heart until her final days.
A great music enthusiast, Deb loved the electrifying sounds of ACDC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Led Zeppelin. She found joy in televised game shows, with Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy being some of her favorites. She was a fervent fan of the Kentucky Wildcats and Cincinnati Bengals, spending game days watching with her husband.
Her favorite pastimes, however, always revolved around her family. Deb cherished spending time with her loved ones above all else. Whether it was a quiet family dinner or a lively holiday gathering, these moments of togetherness fed her soul. She was a warm, welcoming, loving person who made sure we knew to never paid any mind to what others may think.
Deb's zest for life, her laughter, and her relentless love for her family will be missed by all who knew her. Her memory will serve as a beacon of love, acceptance, and fearless individuality; forever reminding us to live authentically and to cherish the people and moments that truly matter.
