I knew I had this photo somewhere. She LOVED a wedding! Whether it was one of her children's or it could be a complete stranger. The dress, the colors, the flowers.

I feel profound sorrow at the loss of my dearest friend and nurse colleague , Deb
We traveled so many paths together . You enriched my life immeasurably with your wisdom and quick wit, humor, love of your family , our patients and their families , knowledge of hospice , patient care , baking , cooking , and you even taught me how to play Barbies !
I felt from the moment I met you outside Brighton Gardens Assisted Living, that G-d sent you to help me be a better nurse and person
And I will never forget the fun we had .. even when some of our moments were so dark , given the nature of our work
Thank you for welcoming me so warmly as a friend into your home . I have wonderful memories of your delicious meals and baking always overflowing your table
My sincere condolences to Greg and your lovely kids , grandchildren and siblings
I will miss you terribly , Deb

So incredibly sorry. Your mama paved the way and was an inspiration to us all and touched so many…. my heart hurts for you all. I truly feel privileged to have had the opportunity to work with her and to know her as a person! She was truly one of a kind! I will miss her…

A great memory with Aunt Debbie and if you look she is right up front with the sun just beaming down on her :)

Deb was a precious and loving person who made herself available to me and my patients. Her sensitivity and caring made the process of sharing the hospice message natural and immensely supportive. Her responsiveness to my own wife’s final days was wonderful and greatly appreciated by my whole family. Dr Meinhold

I worked with Deb at Piedmont Atlanta and Northside Atlanta. She was an awesome hospice nurse patient advocate. I am truly sorry for the loss of her family and the Atlanta hospice community.

One of the absolute best caring nurses I ever worked with. Starting with graduating from nursing school together in 76. Gave her whole heart. I was so sad when they left TC area. Was our loss. She will be reunited with many many friends in heaven.
