My Girl Deatrice Johnson

As a JCF classmate and sharing several classes together throughout my high school years 1974-1976 Deatrice was a very dear friend. Will always remember serenading the Spinners "Love Don't Love nobody"to her.

We continued our friendship and continued a family like existence as we kept in touch through Granny Cat and Lillian Jenkins and shared our love for Shunese Coran. (her God Daughter and my niece).

Thought we had more time....but I am glad to have known such a beautiful lady.

It was on a sunny spring day, June 8, 1958 that Deatrice Annette Johnson was born to Luville Smith and LaSalle Johnson.

Educated in the Los Angeles Unified School District, Deatrice attended Manchester Avenue Elementary , Bethune Junior High and John C. Fremont High. While in school she developed and maintained some long lasting friendships. Upon graduating from high school, Deatrice attended California State University at Long Beach.
