It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dean Van Hove, aged 68, on July 20, 2023. Born on June 22, 1955, Dean's life was marked by love, a deep appreciation for music and family.

He leaves behind an extensive family who continue to carry his legacy and cherish his memory. His children, Denise (Glen) Yanda and Michael (Azra) Van Hove, his grandchildren, Deadra Zamora, Kyrie-E-Leison (Timothy) Braughler, Isabel David, Elizabeth Yanda, Zain Van Hove, Dino Van Hove,  Ajla Van Hove, great-grandchildren, Hunter Yanda , Daisy Braughler survive him. Dean also leaves his sister, Cheryl Van Hove, brother, Darrell (Sharon) Van Hove, and his beloved nieces, Tammy (John) Buffington, Kara (Austin Yingst) Van Hove, and Brooke (Dylan Heckman) Van Hove, great- nieces, Savannah (Ryan) Mahoney, Emily (Mitchul Ford) Buffington.

Dean was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Donna Vanhove, the love of his life, mother of his children, ex-wife, Connie Flowers who he held dear throughout his life. He was a proud veteran, having enlisted in the United States Army in 1973, from which he received an honorable discharge in 1980. His service to his country was a point of personal pride.

An music enthusiast, Dean found joy in singing, playing the guitar, and listening to music. He wrote poetry and found solace in the rhythm of dance. He loved fishing and carving, taking pleasure in the tranquillity of nature and the satisfaction of creating something with his hands.

Dean's greatest accomplishment was the birth of his two children, who, despite trials and adversity, loved each other deeply with an unbreakable bond. His legacy is a beautiful family that continues to value love, resilience, and appreciation for life's simple beauties, as he did.

We celebrate Dean's life and the love he shared with us, even as we mourn his passing. His memory will forever bring joy to those who knew and loved him.
