Dean Thomas Gedulig, also known as Poppop, was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Uncle. He was born on February 24, 1950, age 71, in Queens New York, the son of the late Robert and Kathleen Gedulig. Dean was 1 of 9 children. He passed away peacefully, at the St. Luke’s hospice house, on August 3, 2021.

Dean is survived by his wife, Elaine Gedulig, brother, Warren Gedulig, and his two sisters, Linda D’Angelo and Sharon Linz, daughters, Heather Felch, Lisa Farthing, and Jennifer Wagner, sons, Ronald Bowers, Richard Bowers, and Chad Gedulig, Grandchildren, Jimmy and Jared Felch, Sommer and Morgan Farthing, Julia and Candace Bowers, Jesse Gedulig, Dylan Wagner, and Devon Gedulig, Nieces Christina Kazumba and Michala Gedulig, Tammy Anderson, and Candy Palma. Nephews, Zachary Gedulig, Nick D'angelo, Jason D'angelo, and Jesse Linz. Dean and Elaine celebrated their 31st anniversary on December 30, 2020.
Residing in Pottsville, Dean found his most joy in being with his family. His sense of humor along with his caring nature was enough to light up any room he stepped foot in. He will be dearly missed by the many people he had such a positive impact on throughout his lifetime. His profession was a machinist for over 40 years and had a strong work ethic. There will be a small family remembrance on August 4, 2021 at 3 PM.
