The impact Mr Dean and The Collmann Family had on my childhood is immeasurable and all the memories that were made on Mira Mesa are something I will never forget. The world is a little less sunny without Mr Dean. His loving memory will live on forever through Gwen, Jake, Hannah, and Josh.

My heart is broken for this sweet family. They welcomed me with open arms to watch their kids in early 2000s twice a week for a couple years.  After I got an office job, we lost touch, but fast forward 14 years… Gwen, Dean, Hannah and Josh were there in 2016 to celebrate with me at my wedding.  It was so special to have them there!!

I remember one specific time I was at the house and Dean brought home a dozen red roses Gwen sent to him for their anniversary.  It struck me as odd at the time that a man would receive flowers, but he was thrilled to have them, and opened my eyes that sending flowers wasn’t a gender defined gift.  I learned so much from this family, who all loved each other so much.
