To the Collmann Family: I never had the pleasure of meeting Dean, but I know Josh from the UT days. Josh has been a blessing in helping me through my father's passing.

I read over Dean's life a few times, and the parallels between him and Josh are incredible. It helped me understand why Josh was so kind to everyone he met, energetic, always had a smile on his face, and could easily put a smile on others. I can only imagine how proud Dean was to raise a person like Josh, and how much the family misses Dean.

With Love,

Nicholas

To Fran, Larry and the Collmann Family, We are thinking of you all today and holding you all in prayer. As my husband and I are Coaches of children in Soccer and amateur boxing we truly appreciate life’s greatest Coaches like Dean. We will live what he “coached” his whole life by sharing  laughter, joy, heavy metal music and compassion with everyone this year. Hugs to all of you from Chicago. Love you all,  (Vicar) Mary Seroczynski and Padraic Gavin

I just now heard of the passing of my dear friend for the last 50 years. Dean was so full of intelligence, wit, humor and was an outstanding athlete. As a fou nding member of the "Chain Gang", he contributed greatly to the group infamous success. He could catch any football thrown his way. I still have his number 88 Round Rock Dragons jersey that he accidentally left at my house 40 years ago. His family was so stable and it showed in his accomplishments in life. He one was truly one of a kind and I will carry him in my heart forever.

Dean was a classmate of mine at RRHS.  Your testament of his life aligns with what we all knew and experienced way back in high school.  Always kind and always smiling.  My condolences to your family.  Dean was a special guy!

I’m deeply sorry for your loss. Losing a lifelong friend is deeply painful, especially one who was a devoted father and husband. Dean’s legacy is the wonderfully talented and compassionate family that he leaves behind.

God Bless Dean and the Collmann family.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Dean when studying abroad with Hannah. Whether hosting me at their airbnb or their home in TX he and Gwen were the definition of hospitable. I feel so lucky to have known him, laugh with him and watch his love for his family shine on full display. I love seeing the tributes confirming what we all know about his love and infectious personality. Sending hugs to the Collmann family. ❤️
My sincere condolences to all the family!!!

Sincere condolences to Dean's family and friends.  I worked for Dean in Tescom Florida and he was the best boss I had. Very friendly and a true gentleman.  He will be forever missed.
