It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dawn "Dawnie Doo" Ridgeway Jones. Born on October 7, 1968, Dawn, as she preferred to be called, departed this life on September 9, 2025. She braved her journey through life with a warmth and vivacity that deeply touched those who knew her.

Dawn is survived by her daughter Amber Ridgeway, and her son, Cody Ridgeway. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brionna Colburn, Kristen Ridgeway and Johnathan Blanche. Dawn's siblings, Shelia Murphy, Ronald Jones and Raymond Jones will tend her memory along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving friends and relatives. She was predeceased by her son Scott Ridgeway, mother Dorthy Urban, step-father Albert Urban, father Robert Jones, and sibling Susan Adams ,and Patricia. 

Dawn was a woman of simple pleasures. Her favorite foods included taco salad and cheesecake, and she was rarely seen without a cup of her beloved coffee. Dawn enjoyed the antics of Judge Judy and the haggling on The Price is Right. A fan of heartfelt movies, she loved anything with Julia Roberts. In her recreational time, Dawn loved a game of Bingo or cards, coloring, and seeking hidden treasures at yard sales.

She was fond of local spots such as Bingo Halls and Value Village. Her favorite vacation spot was the serene Ocean City, and she had a deep affection for the color yellow. 

Described as funny, fearless, and caring, Dawn's lessons about love, stating "That love lasts beyond life" She considered the births of her children to be her greatest achievement.
