Background
My name is Amber , I'm Dawn's daughter. A month ago my Mom told me she found out she only had 6 months left here , her health was declining within the last year . Unfortunately her lungs weren't functioning anymore and she passed away in 1 month instead of the estimated 6 months given. I was planning on setting up something before she passed , so she wouldn't stress over her children having to figure out her arrangements after she passed . We have a lot of relatives but our family hasn't ever been close . I really hope we can find support from anyone willing to help us with cremation costs . We lost our older brother in 2018 and we weren't able to afford a service or urn , with help from family/friends we had just enough to cremate my brother . I still feel guilt because my brother deserved more . I don't want my younger brother or anyone else to feel disappointed in themselves because we couldn't properly put my mother to rest . When I met with Mom last month, I asked her what her wishes were , she told me she didn't want a service or anything fancy , just cremation . I just want to give my Mother peace and follow out her wishes .
