I first met Dawn when I was 12. Our dad passed away and we were taken to the Los Angeles area to visit our half brothers and sister. We didn’t see any of them again until I was in my 40s. I was able to find one brother, Bill, who contacted the other siblings and we all got together in Fresno at my sister, Trish’s house. We were all so excited to share stories about our dad and to see each other. We continued having Fitz gatherings every year for several years. As we all have gotten older and some siblings have passed on, the gatherings ceased. I was able to see Dawn and Mike last fall one last time. Dawn, the ever so positive person was a “joy” to see again. Always full of love and smiles!

I will miss Dawn and Mike very much. My love to Elizabeth and Pam as you celebrate their lives this weekend.
