David R Wies, 70 of Kerrville, Texas passed away peacefully on March 2, 2023 at Methodist Specialty & Transplant Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

He was born Oct. 10, 1952 in Lima, Ohio to the late Audrey & Ray Wies of McGuffey, Ohio.

After graduating from Upper Scioto Valley High School, David served our country for eight years in the U.S. Air Force. He then worked for eleven years as a travel agent for the Alamo Travel Group of San Antonio, Texas. After receiving his real estate license, David served as a real estate agent in Dubai, UAE and for Keller Williams Realty of San Antonio, Texas.

David is survived by his sister Brenda Wies Maurer of Texas; two nephews Rick Stuckey, Texas and Jared Hinton, Ohio; two nieces Christina Stuckey & Angela Cushman both of Ohio and his dear Aunt & Uncle Barb & Jim Wies of Ohio. In addition, six close Wies cousins also survive.

David was preceded in death by his sister Marlene Wies Pitts; grandparents Garnet & Rudy Wies, Molly & Cort Neeley and a cousin Anita Wies Krummrey.

Although funeral arrangements are still pending, David’s final resting place will be at Preston Cemetery in Alger, Ohio next to his sister Marlene, his parents and his grandparents.
