So very sorry, Ryan, over your Dad! I remember how he and you prepared such a lovely setting for your Beautiful Wedding in their backyard of their lovely home! May the Lord use Scripture especially in Psalms to comfort your heart knowing Gods Love for you and the wonderful life God gave your Dad!
In Gods Love to you,

I was saddened when I heard the news of David's passing. His smile and easy going manner will be missed. Dave showed he cared by being a great listener. Praying for your comfort and peace Anna and families.

Dear Anna and family. David was a kind and loyal friend in high school. My husband and I always hoped you would come to visit us in New Zealand. Heaven has gained a good man. With heartfelt condolences.

We hadn’t known David and Anna for that long. We became acquainted with them when our Granddaughter Ali, started dating their son, Jared. Dave was always smiling and made others do as well. The saying goes “the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree”. Jared was blessed with the compassion and a loving heart just like his Dad. Anna, our hearts go out to you and your family in your time of loss. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers.
With our deepest sympathy,
Roger and Shirley Holland

We loved Dave Westrup.
When we came to Crossings 9 years ago, he and Anna were so welcoming to us. They both have such a gentle way about them and are such gracious people. They hosted our Sunday school parties several times out at their beautiful place in the country. They have a piece of heaven out there. For several years, Dave taught our Sunday school class with such wisdom, gentleness, and honesty. He affirmed every person’s comment.
Dave’s confidence was in Christ. He had a great sense of humor and was so fun to be around!
He did some remodeling in our son’s house, and Mark loved and respected his masterful work and kind spirit. Dave also saved the day when someone accidentally threw a rock from a riding lawnmower into our master bathroom window. He secured our window with plywood until it could be replaced. He also repaired woodwork, built cabinets in our garage, and he and Dale hung strand board in our "glory barn."
After Greg's heart attack, Dave and Anna brought a delicious meal to us and sat in our living room with such calm and ministered to us in a very special way.
Dave was a tall man, but worked willingly in small spaces. He was a hard worker. He was a servant. He was a gentle giant who cared a lot about people. We thank God for him and will miss him greatly here, but we know he is now in the presence of Jesus, The Master and Lover of his soul.
We love you, Anna.
