We are so saddened to hear this sudden news - I’ll never forget my first phone call with David when he said he wanted to work at Microsoft. He was the BEST interview conducted for that specific skillset, and after placing him, he was a JOY working with him. David was the most annoying kid I'd ever met. During my freshman year of college he would wait outside the door until my class was over. I guess he just wanted to talk as I went to my next class. Sometimes, honestly... I tried to sneak out of the class without him seeing me. He was like a heat seeking missile and would eventually find me. The last thing a freshman in college wanted to do was hang out with a 10 year old. But soon, without realizing it, I came to love him and appreciate all of his quirks and eccentricities. He became a cherished friend.

David was such a good friend to me, I met him through the La Familia community and he introduced to me to so much new music and never ever hesitated to help if I had a tech issue or needed help with my Program Management course which I am in right now. He DJ'd for us on many Friday nights and we would all chat for hours about any topic, his dad jokes and quick-witted responses were an expected part of the night- he will be greatly missed. My favorite memory is when he was attending a festival that my friend was MCing and I asked David to call him the nickname that only I call him- and he did!!- he said the look on my friends face was priceless!! I tell that story often and will continue to do so. See you in heaven my friend!

My condolences to David's family. David was a huge part of our YouTube community we call La Familia. We loved him like a brother. A big amount of songs we explored on the channel came from suggestions David made. Especially for Rock/Metal Monday. David was incredibly giving, I was having computer troubles and he didn't hesitate to offer help with fixing my issue free of charge. La Familia loved him so much and will miss his dad jokes, his quick comebacks on jokes and his beautiful brain that stored the most interesting facts about music and artists.
