He was so uplifting!
He made me feel so proud to have been in the Navy, even as enlisted. He was so proud to tell people and referred to me as “Hey Navy”. It inspired me to get a Navy flag and put it up at my house. I can’t thank him enough for making me feel good about something someone else made me keep quiet for 20 years…being married to a naval office.
So thank you “Marine”. ❤️🙏🏼 You were a gift in so many ways.

Dear David, I want to thank you again for your great kindness when you let me stay at your apartment in San Francisco when my daughter was sick with cancer. I will never forget your generosity at that time. I came back from where she lived on Chestnut Street by the bay real late and then even started cooking for her for the next day around midnight! I tried real hard to be quiet with the pots and pans! I am so sorry that you had to leave this earth so young David... my heart goes out to your two sons, their mom, your mom Anita (my friend),your dad and his wife, your brother and Griselda, and so many of your great friends. I will try to find you when I get up there David to give you a great big hug. With much love and appreciation, Ursula Thompson

David Turner was my mentor, my friend, my guide and the best boss. He was a brother to me, and I will keep his memories in my heart forever. I know he will live forever in all of GoSportivo team, and to Lucas and Johnny I hope they know that they have my friendship always.
