Dave Szymusiak was a titan of a dad and a good man. He let me play drums in his basement and was always pushing us and supporting Zac and his music. I’d come over ranting about traffic and work, trying to make him laugh.

He used to take his son to see crazy good bands, then he would get an autograph and auction it off for charity. He was the one who showed me that audacity and good taste can be used to help others. Just a solid guy with a kind heart.
